QuickHelp now doubles as a robust event registration tool!


  1. Click New > Event > Event from the Action Bar
  2. Add a title and description and include a few keywords

    Keywords don’t directly affect searches, but users can click a keyword to view all other assets tagged with the same word.

  3. Select the Published checkbox - the event isn’t visible to end users until registration is open or you publish a future event session
  4. Click Next
  5. Click Update Image and add an image cap to the event
  6. Click Next
  7. Add an Event Owner
    The Event Owner is visible in the QuickHelp Admin Portal only and is currently only used for searching and sorting events.
  8. Choose Topic from the Topic pulldown menu

    These Topics are found from published Topics in the Content Library. Functionality surrounding Topic will be added in a future release.
  9. Click Next
  10. Choose a Registration Open and Close Date/Time

    Because users must register in order to attend, it’s best to allow for the longest possible registration window.

  11. Choose the appropriate time zone from the Time Zone pulldown menu
  12. Click the Finish checkmark
